Hi everyone,

TL;DR:
------
These last days, I updated the linux-stable and kernel-common git trees
to align on the first official release of the LTSI kernel for branch
3.14.y: 3.14.28-ltsi.

This also means that the upcoming Tizen:Common 'Q4' release will be the
first to be fully aligned on LTSI.

ATM, the new kernel is present in x86, x86_64 and arm 'versatile'
images, starting from snapshot tizen-common_20150205.7 .

In details:
-----------
As previously, the git repository platform/upstream/linux-stable is used
to offer a base for all Tizen profiles (no configuration there).
linux-stable has currently a 'tizen' branch which contains:
- the 3.14.28 upstream kernel
- + all 3.14.28-ltsi patches (~1000 patches)
- + some global tizen patches (mostly smack related) and packaging rules

It's rather easy to use the linux-stable/tizen branch as an upstream
branch for a profile kernel. That's what I did in kernel-common for
Tizen:Common:
- the 'tizen' branch from linux-stable git tree is used as an upstream
branch in kernel-common
- the 'tizen_common' branch contains the T:Common specific patches
(kernel configuration mostly)

For more information on the Tizen kernels, take a look at:
