Hi Leon,
Thanks for the update. I think it could be great to add some words to
say that building Yocto Tizen without meta-intel layers, just the
generic x86-64 works fine on the MMX. (And with that way you have the
3.14 kernel)
Thank you for the provided feedback. I have added your note about
generic x86-64 to the wiki article for Minnowboard MAX:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/MinnowMax#Building_Tizen_with_Yocto
Additionally, a screen shot from GParted has been added to simplify the
instructions about microSD card partitions.
Thanks,
Leon

Hi,
The tutorial for building Tizen (Tizen:Common and Tizen IVI) images with
Yocto for Minnowboard MAX has been updated:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/MinnowMax#How_to_configure_and_boot_Yocto_Tizen_on_MMAX
The provided step by step instructions for preparing and booting Tizen
from microSD on Minnowboard MAX have been tested on Ubuntu 14.10.
Several remarks and notes have been added for other distributions. The
tutorial has been extended with a few steps with which you can configure
EFI and Grub to automatically boot Tizen without any user interaction
(previously the user had to type in EFI shell and confirm the selected
Grub option).
To avoid any confusions and duplication of guidelines I have deleted the
section with the same information from the other article:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Yocto_Tizen_on_MinnowBoard_Max
Please note that I had encountered some problems with the recipe for
building Tizen IVI with Yocto for haswell-wc which have been described
in Tizen JIRA: https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/BTY-105
Therefore I have tested the procedure for preparing and booting microSD
card using Tizen IVI image for valleyisland-64 built with Yocto.
Best regards,
Leon
