Dear Livy Developers, My name is *Surafel Temesgen*, and I’d like to share with you a project I’ve been developing called *Debo*—a lightweight, open-source infrastructure management tool designed to unify the monitoring and control of components across the Hadoop ecosystem, including *Apache Livy*. ------------------------------ 💡 What is Debo?
*Debo* is a desktop-based application written in C that helps simplify administration of complex big data clusters by providing a single GUI for: - *Livy*, *Spark*, *HDFS*, *YARN* - *Hive*, *HBase*, *Kafka*, *Flink*, *Zookeeper* - As well as Atlas, Ranger, Tez, Phoenix, Hue, Pig, Oozie, Presto, and more. The core goal is to reduce operational friction by allowing administrators and developers to quickly view component status and issue basic control commands from one unified interface. ------------------------------ 🚀 Incubator Proposal & Community Feedback Debo has been proposed for incubation at the Apache Software Foundation and is currently looking for *3 PMC sponsors*.
