Hello, I have submitted a JIRA which proposes two possible implementations of idempotent session creation in Livy: https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/LIVY/issues/LIVY-782
These implementations add new APIs for idempotent creation of batch/interactive sessions and do not make any changes to existing APIs. I look forward to any comments or suggestions. Best regards, Andrew
