- Joda Time Instant has a millisecond granularity so it cannot be helpful
- The issue with adding Instant (either JDK8 or Joda Time) into the LogEvent
API is that it is an immutable class, so it won't fit naturally with
MutableLogEvent implementation that is expected to be allocation-free when
reused.
- Another issue is about formatting the data, the %d formatter will not easily
handle timestamp with submilli granularity (probably need
java.time.format.DateTimeFormatter which is a java 8 class)
