I've finally got some time this weekend and am working on merging this today. Strangely enough, my old branch merged with no git merge conflicts, so it shouldn't be too hard to integrate at this point. I'll be handling documentation updates along with trying to copy over all the old property names into a full unit test to verify the old names always work in the future for BC.
