Hello everybody, I am Fabio Palomba, a researcher at the University of Zurich (Switzerland). Together with my team, we are currently looking into architectural changes that APIs have made to accomodate the usage of Java 8 lambda features. We isolated Spring, Guava, Mockito, JUnit, Hibernate and Log4J for this study. We already spoke with developers from the other APIs and were hoping to get in contact with some of you from Log4j.
More in detail, we would like to understand your opinions about main challanges, strengths and weaknesses of lambdas in conjunction with API methods and functional interfaces.
