There is no maintainer to release binaries for You. A source only release
was made some time ago, also to signal the dormant state of the project.
This was aimed to be a signal to interesting parties to get involved in the
project. I see at least these options:

Option 1 is to get involved and drive forward a release of binaries along
others who have chimed in.

Option 2 is to consume log4net sources, building a head revision that
includes the fix.

Option 3 is to fork and do what You see fit and is allowed according to the
license agreement.
