Hello,
I am using the org.apache.logging.log4j.test.appender.ListAppender of the:
    <dependency>
        <groupId>org.apache.logging.log4j</groupId>
        <artifactId>log4j-core</artifactId>
        <version>2.19.0</version>
        <classifier>tests</classifier>
    </dependency>
in some integration tests with the invoker plugin.
I’m testing some pom files with some logging bridge libs if they work as
expected in specific combinations.

The release 2.20.0 does not publish the test artifact anymore. (The
test-sources artifact is still published.)
https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/logging/log4j/log4j-core/2.20.0/

I have found the commit that is removing the artifact:
https://github.com/apache/logging-log4j2/commit/b264e09c2eafe74ad753845f6bf769bd56ea4f56

Is there a possibility that the artifact will return in a future release?
Only if it doesn't cause any trouble.

Best Regards
    Gerd
