I did some performance testing on faceting using the field cache (single valued
field with facet.method fc and fcs).
field=100000 unique values
fc: 5% slower
fcs: 55% slower
field=100 unique values
fc: 2.5% slower
fcs: 26% slower
I'll look into it to see how we can regain some of that lost performance.
