attached is a patch with improvements to TestReplicationHandler:
* speeding up the test and making it more reliable (see rQuery)
* removing all scary warnings
* closing a previously unclosed reader that was preventing it from cleaning up
after itself.
would appreciate anyone thats willing to apply the patch and try running the
test a few times to see if its more stable for them.
