Cassandra Targett commented on SOLR-5703:
-----------------------------------------

A couple of comments:

1. I didn't really understand deep paging before, but get it much more clearly
now, so great start in that regard. And the client code examples are great. One
question that still isn't clear, though, is how to use the nextCursorMark.
After reading a couple of times, I finally caught the phrase "take the
"nextCursorMark" String value from the response", so I'm thinking that maybe
adding an example of what a nextCursorMark might look like and how to use it
would answer the question that I had.

2. In terms of where to put it in the Ref Guide, I think the Searching section
is an obvious choice even though that section is getting large and unwieldy and
deserves some more attention to the overall organization. While that's a bit of
a separate topic, I moved a couple of pages around so this topic more neatly
fits before or after the Result Grouping and Result Clustering pages. Hopefully
soon I can take a deeper look at it and think of some better organization for
Searching generally. Let me know if you think it should belong somewhere else.

> SOLR-5463 and cursorMark need documented in the user guide -- beyond just
> simple usage, we need to explain the why/how it's distinct from regular
> pagination.
