Yeah, I can live with that 'cause it doesn't require regexes, or really any
complex logic.
Something like this?
if (! isGoodRoot(chroot)) throw error
if (! allHostsWellFormed(hosts)) throw an error
this.zkHost = StringUtils.join(hosts, ',') + normalized(chroot);
