Hi, I will start the Lucene/Solr 4.8 release candidate tomorrow, so you all have time to check the candidate during the easter vacation :-) I am still waiting for some test runs of Java 7u55, so we can update the system requirements page, to give a clear recommendation to users upgrading from Java 6.
I will now move open issues in JIRA to 4.9. If you have any urgent issue to backport, please move as blocker into 4.8.
