[~vzhovtiuk] Does your patch contain changes form mine? There were some NPE as
Hoss mentioned which I think I got fixed. I like the addition of tests though,
so hope to get the best of both. I don't mind providing a patch combining both
patches, just want to avoid us posting at about the same time again. :)
