It looks like the smoker started Solr (using the bin/solr script) but then 
was unable to connect on 8983 to create the collection -- that didn't 
cause the smoker to fail, but the inability to run the test_utf8.sh command to 
talk 
to Solr on 8983 did.

Can osmeone with shell access to the Lucene Zone grab the log files out of 
the unpack dir (before this job runs again) and attach them to a new jira 
so we/Tim can try to figure out what went wrong?
