Alexandre Rafalovitch commented on SOLR-5582:
---------------------------------------------
As of Solr 5, Solr is now officially NOT supporting 3rd party containers. So,
this issue and SOLR-5109 are now WillNotFix, I guess.
> Solr 4.6 is not running in Glassfish 4.0

> Key: SOLR-5582
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-5582
> Project: Solr
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: 4.6
> Environment: Glassfish 4.0, not OS related
> Reporter: Bert Brecht
> Priority: Critical
> Labels: glassfish, guava
>
> Hi,
> SOLR-5109 is describing the behavior and it looks like Guava 15 is already
> released. Would be great, if its possible to fix it.
> Sidenote: Yes, I understood. Solr should run a dedicated server and in our
> environment, Solr runs in a dedicated server. But, to streamline our
> operations, we decided to operate one application server and these is
> Glassfish in our case :/
