The two JIRAs were SOLR-6845 SOLR-6864

I back-ported them to 4.10, but then infix-based suggesters were
rebuilding on startup afterwards even though they don't on 5.x. I
didn't track down whether there were other JIRAs that I needed to
back-port or whether I'd just messed up the back-porting of these two.
Either way it was getting to be more work than I'd bargained for,
other priorities and all that.

Then SOLR-6657 seemed like a good idea too, and then there's
LUCENE-5833 which seemed like another good idea. So it started to look
like I was going down a feature creep path that was more than a 4.10.5
called for so I stopped.....
