Does this really hang or is it just that the doc doesn't get indexed? IOW, can
you index other documents?
This looks at first glance like the file you're sending is simply corrupt or in
some unexpected character set. But that's a guess.
BTW, it's usually best to raise these kinds of issues on the user's list first
and then raise a JIRA if it's a confirmed problem, unless you're quite sure
it's a code issue.
