I like the separate module idea, and I like the proposed name {{spatial3d}} ...
but I am no good with ant build files and pom.xml's and ivy.xml's and such, but
I'll try pulling it out and see how far I get. Now seems like a good time
since there are no outstanding issues/patches for geo3d?
