Or maybe I can make a simple randomized test, not using BKD, that just does 
something similar as BKD: slices up encoded space, recursing, "targetting" the 
given docID.  This ought to be a more efficient way to ferret out the relation 
issues, since we don't have to writer/read anything to disk ... I'll see if I 
can do this.
