I note that there's lot more to this proposal than just the URL - we've missed
a heap of content in your proposal document. Can we break it out into JIRAs so
we can explore each part?
e.g. you suggest a GET to /solr2/<collection>/query would execute a search. I'd
suggest that the 'query' is unneeded. The point is that, from a REST point of
view, the <collection> is the resource we are interacting with, not a 'query'.
I'd love to see a venue for discussing these details in, well, detail.
