I ran the whole solr-core test suite (the only scenario where I was regularly
seeing failures on my box) 25 times with Ishan's latest patch. The failure
rate without the patch was quite a bit higher even after the r1713235 commit on
this issue: 7/13 runs on the 5.x/Java8 job, and 3/11 runs on the trunk job.
