I learnt about the
[ecj.javadocs.prefs|https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/blob/master/lucene/tools/javadoc/ecj.javadocs.prefs]
via LUCENE-7077 earlier today. This ticket proposes to make
{{org.eclipse.jdt.core.compiler.problem.comparingIdentical}} an error also,
this would require relocating/replacing a code assert with an equivalent test.
