Well, that depends on whether you're focused on the task or paranoid. I'm still 
trying to figure out which group I belong to...

With regard to the FST builder -- nobody is to blame, I just observed the fact: 
there have been so many improvements and there are so many code paths inside 
that code that it's hard to grasp, especially for newcomers. Whether it's 
possible to rewrite it in a cleaner way is a whole different issue.
