Alas, no, Jenkins failures are coming from Java 8 builds as well.  Which makes 
the non-reproducability of the seeds even weirder.  Or rather, they *are* 
reproducible - every local run yields the same numbers.  It’s just that they’re 
different to the numbers yielded by the Jenkins builds.
