Another reason to add this support
Lots of people use a TextField which has a Keyword Tokenizer + Lowecase Filter
. The reason being
- You can search on the field in a case insensitive fasion
- You can facet on the field but the facet results preserve the casing as its a
stored field as well.
"brand" could be such field - you want to search and facet on them. We can't
use DocValues in such a case also.
