Hi Mark,
Is this only meant for master? SOLR-7374 ran into a merge issue in branch_6x.
If you plan on backporting this issue for branch_6x then I can hold off
backporting SOLR-7374
Else I can just the other constructor provided by HdfsDirectory and backport
