Varun Thacker commented on SOLR-9342:
-------------------------------------
Hi lvchuanwen,
bq. remove -Duser.timezone=PST ,the Solr log and GC log time zone should be
uniform.
The point is I want the ALL my Solr logging ( gc + solr logs ) to be in PST .
Currently I would have to change my machine timezone to PST and pass in
{{-Duser.timezone=PST}} to achieve this. I created this Jira to explore the
possibility to do this without having to change my machine time
> Solr GC logging not respecting user timezone

> When I start Solr with say {{-Duser.timezone=PST}} the solr logging correctly
> logs in the specified timezone.
> However the solr gc logging is still using my machines default timezone. This
> can be very confusing and make debugging very tough.
