Thanks for the review and mentioning about the javadocs, it made me go see if
there is a test already for {{QParserPlugin.DEFAULT_QTYPE}} being {{"lucene"}}
(as the javadocs will mention) and i didn't find such a test and so adding it
as part of the patch.
