First of all, please raise issues like this on the user's list first. Something
this blatant is very likely an issue with your setup or others would have run
into it before now.
In this case I suspect you have a mixture of old and new jars in your
classpath. Testing with a fresh install without any previous versions of Solr
would be a proverbial "smoking gun"...
