Jan Høydahl resolved SOLR-4936.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
We don't support a cluster of embedded ZK, it is simply not a good idea. Setup
an external ZK ensemble as per refGuide.
> Cannot run Solr with zookeeper on multiple IPs
> ----------------------------------------------
>
> Key: SOLR-4936
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-4936
> Project: Solr
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: SolrCloud
> Affects Versions: 4.2
> Reporter: Grzegorz Sobczyk
>
> This doesn't run solr with ZK:
> {{java -DzkRun=192.168.1.169:9180
> -DzkHost=192.168.1.169:9180,192.168.1.169:9280 -Djetty.port=8180 -jar
> start.jar}}
> {{java -DzkRun=192.168.1.169:9280
> -DzkHost=192.168.1.169:9180,192.168.1.169:9280 -Djetty.port=8280 -jar
> start.jar}}
> And this does:
> {{java -DzkRun=localhost:9180 -DzkHost=localhost:9180,localhost:9280
> -Djetty.port=8180 -jar start.jar}}
> {{java -DzkRun=localhost:9280 -DzkHost=localhost:9180,localhost:9280
> -Djetty.port=8280 -jar start.jar}}
> SolrZkServerProps#getMyServerId() assumes that myHost is "localhost" rather
> than reads it from zkRun property.
> (tested on example)
