Please raise issues on the user's list first to see if it's a usage issue or an
actual bug/improvement. In this particular case it's not clear whether
1> it's a Solr issue at all or a Squirrel SQL issue.
2> if it's a Solr issue, whether it's intended to be supported or not.
Once it does become clear (and lots more eyes see these on the user's list) we
can add more details to the JIRA.
