If you follow the instructions on that page, especially *Run the commands below
in the server/etc/ directory in the binary Solr distribution*, you should end
up with those files in {{solr/server/etc/}}, and thus the given paths should be
relative to {{server}} which is where Solr's {{pwd}}.
If it won't work for you, please specify more details about error messages you
get, what you did to make it work (exactly what path you put instead of the
relative one) etc.
