cassandra pointed out to me offline that i never explicitly mentioned in a
comment here: INFRA-14849 is the issue we're currently "blocked" on to have
the actual redirects added (i linked the jiras when i created it weeks ago, but
didn't explicitly call it out in a comment so folks might have missed it)
