Erick Erickson updated SOLR-6944:
---------------------------------
Attachment: stdout.41
stdout.131
stdout.251
stdout.319
stdout.385
On my Mac Pro, this test doesn't fail (ReplicationFactorTest), but on a Dell
server I have access to I get several distinct failure patterns in the file
above.
My work on SOLR-11438 is done, that's the point of doing all the beasting and
running in to these errors. So I'll reset @BadApple on ReplicationFactorTest
before checking that JIRA in.
I'd love to be able to take that annotation off the tests for
ReplicationFactorTest, but we have too much noise as is.
Anyone with any bandwidth who wants me to try any fixes just let me know. I'll
probably be working on this off and on as time passes; it may be at the root of
other test issues too.
> ReplicationFactorTest and HttpPartitionTest both fail with
> org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException: The target server failed to respond

> Our only recourse is to do a client side retry on such errors. I have some
> retry code for this from SOLR-4509 that I will pull over here.
