Since we're on the subject of JIRA etiquette, please don't address JIRA issues
to specific people – as in "hello ____". Everyone should feel invited to
participate, even if, practically speaking, certain parts of our code have
historically only been improved by one person. That said, CC away to anyone
you think would take an interest in the issue.
