Hi Mayank, 
I haven’t tried it yet, but a user proposed a patch to add Eclipse launchers. 
See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-11331. It’s not running Tomcat 
though, It uses the Jetty jars that are shipped with Solr. 
Note that, for creating the Eclipse project and for running unit tests you only 
need to `ant eclipse`, and then import as existing project to Eclipse, as 
described here: https://wiki.apache.org/solr/HowToConfigureEclipse.
