BTW I noticed a side-effect of running the script as a Build step on Policeman
Jenkins: if the Ant build step fails (e.g. precommit), then none of the
following Build steps will be invoked. Maybe this is ok?
An alternative would be to switch from a Build step to a Post-Build step, but
this would require installing the Post Build Script plugin:
