Actually the solution seems easier than expected :
- I generalised your additional condition to include SpanOrQuery ( checking
SpanQuery actually)
- I added the test checking the query is correctly (built) parsed
- I haven't touched anything else, I left your tests un-touched, in the end
they are additional tests, so even if they check the bug-fix indirectly they
are not harmful
I attached the extended patch and created a PR via Github.
My only suggestion would be to re-word slightly the messages if your are going
that way (I personally prefer to split the unit tests
e.g.
testEdismaxQueryParsing_multiTermSynonymWithPfAndPs_shouldParseCorrectSpanQueries()
but it is your call if you want to do so).
