Joel Bernstein commented on SOLR-12209:
---------------------------------------

The implementations look good. We'll need to add the Stream Expression tests.
These would go in StreamDecoratorTest. I have no problem adding the tests and
committing. If you want to add the tests that's fine too, let me know which you
prefer.

You'll also need to add the functions to Lang.java and TestLang for the
Streaming Expressions to be recognized by the /stream handler.

> Currently the closest streaming expression that allows some sort of
> pagination is top.
> I propose we add a new streaming expression, which is based on the
> RankedStream class to add offset to the stream. currently it can only be done
> in code by reading the stream until the desired offset is reached.
> The new expression will be used as such:
> {{paging(rows=3, search(collection1, q="*:*", qt="/export",
> fl="id,a_s,a_i,a_f", sort="a_f desc, a_i desc"), sort="a_f asc, a_i asc",
> start=100)}}
> {{this will offset the returned stream by 100 documents}}

> [~joel.bernstein] what to you think?
