Since its been a few years and this discussion has resurfaced I thought I'd go
ahead and submit a quick patch to refactor the LatLon classes out of sandbox
into core. Let me know if there are strong opinions against moving to {{core}}
over the {{spatial}} module and/or whether or not we should continue to wait on
this much longer.
