It seems that all items from

* Multi-valued fieldcache for points: there is an ongoing discussion here
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-9202 but there seems to be a
consensus that this should not be added.
* Spatial-extras uses the old numeric encoding is solved by
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-7094
* join only supports the old encoding for numerics is solved by
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-7095
* memory index supports points since
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-7093
I think we can mark this issue as resolved unless I missed something ?
