Mark Miller commented on SOLR-2697: ----------------------------------- Hmm...I actually noticed this a week or two ago, but thought it was likely an existing issue from back when Solr tried to handle more of this type of tracking/buffering. I forgot about it before making an issue. But you are right - previously this was reset in the close writer method...but we no longer close the writer on commit. > commit and autocommit operations don't reset > DirectUpdateHandler2.numDocsPending stats attribute > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: SOLR-2697 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-2697 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Components: update > Affects Versions: 3.4, 4.0 > Reporter: Alexey Serba > Priority: Minor > Attachments: SolrIndexOperations.png, UpdateHandlerDocsPending.png > > > commit and autocommit operations don't reset > DirectUpdateHandler2.numDocsPending stats attribute (see attached screenshots) > I believe this regression was caused by DUH2 refactorings (near realtime, > etc).
