Thanks for raising an issue [~mgibney]! I think the problem is in
PreAnalyzedTokenizer here, which seems to be doing things at odd times - it's
doing IO in setReader() when it really ought to be doing it in reset(), and
adding an OffsetAttribute in incrementToken seems completely wrong to me. And
re-use is completely broken, as you say.
I think the best way forward is to close this issue, and open a Solr one to fix
PreAnalyzedTokenizer.
