Earlier we did not list *any* release on download page but redirected directly
to let the user see the available downloads directly in the mirror.
Then, some release was held back due to new requirement to have links and sha
available on the download page, so it was hastily added.
In my opinion the download page should list both least 8.1.1 and 7.7.1 (LTS),
and I’ll fix that too. At the same time I’ll move the “About versions” section
of the Solr webpage from
[http://lucene.apache.org/solr/community.html#about-versions] to the download
page.
