jpountz opened a new pull request #765: LUCENE-8150: Remove references to `segments.gen`. URL: https://github.com/apache/lucene-solr/pull/765 This file isn't used anymore since 4.0, so I tried to contain references to `segments.gen` to the minimum that is required to get the right exception when opening a too old index.
