Hello, I submitted the below JIRA after discussing the issue on the user list.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16360 I have tried the fix locally and it's working as per expectations. I would like to contribute it as well. Since this will be my first time contributing to the open source community, I would like to know if the JIRA needs to be assigned to me or if I can just go ahead and submit a PR against it?
