Dear Apache Solr Community, My name is *Surafel Temesgen*, and I’m thrilled to introduce a project I’ve been working on called *Debo* — a lightweight, unified infrastructure management platform that provides monitoring and control across various big data technologies, including *Apache Solr*. ------------------------------ 💡 What is Debo?
*Debo* is a *desktop-based*, open-source tool (written in C) designed to give administrators and developers *real-time visibility* and *basic operational control* over key services in the modern data stack. It currently supports: - *HDFS, YARN, Hive, Kafka* - *Flink, Spark, Zookeeper, HBase* - *Solr, Ranger, Atlas, Tez, Presto, Phoenix, Hue*, and more The goal of Debo is to streamline the operational experience across distributed systems by providing a *unified CLI and GUI dashboard* that can interact with multiple components, including search and indexing platforms like Solr. ------------------------------ 📣 Incubator Proposal & Feedback Request Debo has been proposed to the *Apache Incubator*, and I am currently seeking *3 PMC sponsors* to support the incubation process.
