Happy New Year, everyone, and thank you for the warm welcome! I'm honored to join Lucene as a committer and excited to contribute further. I feel there couldn't be a better time than the start of a new year for this.
*About myself: * I completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2020 from Bangalore and joined Amazon (AWS) right after graduation. I currently work on Amazon's Product Search team, which is how and where I was first introduced to Lucene. I moved from Bangalore to Boston a few months ago and am still exploring the city and getting used to the freezing weather here! Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball (it's my go-to stress buster when I'm on the court) and occasionally painting (though less often these days). I also like binge-watching YouTube or sports, especially tennis, basketball, and cricket, but I consistently avoid series or shows, as I tend to get obsessed and end up staying up for days until I finish them. One constant in my life, however, is listening to music. I look forward to collaborating with the community and learning from all of you.
